Thanks for Your Ticket Purchase!

Thank you so much for your generous gift in support of Urban Gateways’ arts education programs. You should receive an email confirmation that you can use as a receipt for tax purposes. The youth we serve benefit from our dance, literary, media, theater, music, and visual arts experiences in countless ways, growing as creative and empowered individuals. We hope they one day become people like you: Lifelong supporters of the arts, and citizens who fully understand the enormous power of the arts. Who knows, you might be helping the next Picasso, Fosse or Dickinson to get his or her start in the world!

Through exposure to teaching and touring artist programs, Urban Gateways students deepen their ability to think creatively and to use creative thinking at a catalyst for personal growth – 80% of students reported that their self-confidence increased significantly during their Urban Gateways program. One student said of her spoken word residency: “If you become more comfortable in your body then you can be who you want to be.”

With your continued support, we are on track to serve 75,000 youth this year. Thank you for understanding that the impact of arts education should never be taken lightly, and that the presence of the arts in our schools is essential to building stronger, more vibrant communities.

Urban Gateways is a 501©3 not-for-profit organization. In accordance with IRS rules and regulations, no goods or services were exchanged for this gift.
